Within the Treetops {OPEN}

[Shrike]

"Shame shame. " she shook her head. "Anyway, back to my snake!" With that the bird gobbled up the remaining meat hungrily.

[birdeye]

Flame laughed, "we are not love birds. I wish we were though." Hwe said laughing again.

[dogzrock]

"What's that supposed to mean?" Aniya retorted glaring at Flame even though she was fully aware of his feeling for her.

[birdeye]

"Nothing. I was just kidding!" He said even though he wasn't kidding.

[Shrike]

"You guys need to be certain. Cut if the snakes head otherwise it eats you whole." Thorn states.

[birdeye]

"Can't eat me whole!" He says shifting from one leg to the other.

[dogzrock]

"It's a metaphor," Aniya said. "We're not lovebirds. But he is a lover bird." She gestured to Flame. "I'm not interested."

[Shrike]

"Then someone needs to pound it into his head!" The shrike blinked and opened her beak in a smile.

[birdeye]

"I am aware she doesn't like me" he said in sad expression.

[Shrike]

"A songbird and a bird of prey. Not happening! You need to get over her, find a different bird!

[birdeye]

"I am over her! I just can't find the right bird, I am sorry I won't bother either of you ever again." He said as he flew away and landed on a branch not far from them.

[Shrike]

The shrike chittered, well that seems like that solved that!

[dogzrock]

"Knowing him," Aniya whispered to Thorn, "He's not over me. He still seem entranced."

[Shrike]

The shrike hopped on one foot. "I know a little eagle that lives nearby..." She said cautiously.

[birdeye]

Flame just stayed there on the branch until he heard about the eagle. "What eagle?" He said flying over and landing by them.
