Guin frowned at the skulduggery. "I'm surprised this one isn't desiccated." The penguin frowned angrily. He waddled to a grave and placed the stones back over the bones. He plucked a violet blossom and placed it on the top.

"They probably thought they'd be hunted down." Mia said helping him. She could only move the small rocks but she figured it was the thought that counted.

At long last the ransacked graves were redone and new flowers were laid. Guin smiled solemnly at Mia and said, "lets move on." This place was hallowed ground, Guin didn't feel as comfortable staying here to long.

Mia looked up to her friend and nodded. She lifted her wings and took one last look at her brothers grave with its lonely white and purple flowers before taking off. She flew ahead scanning the ground for any signs of trespassers or other birds in general. The world for Mia was bigger than she knew but she was wise enough to understand that she would see things she had never seen before. It was all a matter of who she saw them with. And Guin seemed to be the best friend she had found. She smiled as she swooped lower to fly over his head.

Guin waddled along side her. His eyes solemn yet bright. "come on, lets go." he looked to the sky. A blue expanse slaahed with white cirrus clouds. A realm he could never live in. He was bound to the earth.
