A Quest {OPEN}

[dogzrock]

"They both look about equal in brightnes," Rinzi couldn't decide which was brighter.

[Shrike]

"Then go with your heart!" He said and spiraled down the right.

[dogzrock]

Rinzi was happy to let Cirus take the lead. Even though it was her quest, Rinzi had never wanted to lead

[Shrike]

After jetting down the corridor he slowed down substantially as a roar filled the tunnel.

(Waterfall under ground!)

[dogzrock]

"What is it?" Rinzi yelled as Cirus slowed. Then the river and the waterfall came into view. The roaring wall of white water seemed to fall for forever. "Oh..."

[Shrike]

Cirus nodded and watched the river in awe. In glorious rivulets it sprung from rock to ledge and down into an infinite pit. His only question about the marvel was where did it come from?

[dogzrock]

"Maybe the river comes from the outside!" Rinzi said excited to be free from the overwhelming darkness.

[Shrike]

"Maybe so!" Cirus flapped his wings to slowly rise. The beginning was nowhere in sight.

[dogzrock]

"The only way to tell is to find our!" Rinzi said as she propelled herself forward. She glided above the river and strarted flying upstream.

[Shrike]

Stray drops flecked his face as Curus shot behind her, wings pumping.

[dogzrock]

The wind heighten as a light appeared at the end of the tunnel. Rinzi let out a screech of triumph.

[dogzrock]

[Shrike]

Cirus screeched in relief as a glimmer of light shone golden on his feathers. A rainbow appeared from the must, elegantly bending fond into the abyss.

[dogzrock]

Rinzi flew straight through the rainbow and into open air. She sighed in relief then squawked in surprise when she noticed the oncoming tree trunk. She made a sharp turn to avoid it. Then was she able to look around. The large trees told it all. They were in the Valley of the Great Oaks.

With a chirp that was very unlike him, Cirus came gracefully outside, his wings perforated with dewdrops. He glanced around him in awe. "You made it Rinzi!" He exclaimed!
-exit Cirus-
