Shakira paced at the entrance of the maze. Inside it awaited the wise one. She entered carefully, dragging herself inside by her wings. She looked around. There were two paths to take. She chose the one that went straight and then looked to the left. Another path was at the right. She choose the left, then went straight then turned right again. All these directions were making her turn crazy.
Shakira wondered what Sia and Ylvis qould think if they knew that their sister, the first and best flyer, the first one to cstch a worm, the obvious best even if they couldn't see it, was in the maze. Shakira could just see the look on her younger sister's face. "Kira, why are you doing this" she imagined Sia saying. Her mother would of course disapprove, but her father would approve. He had wanted to start the quest to bring back the stars as well, but said that he couldn't because he had a family and mate to take care of.
Thats why she had told her father that she was going into the maze and didn't tell anyone else. She told him to inform them in a day. In just 22 hours they would know, and Shakira would be to far into the maze to come back out, at least to far in without a wisdom to come out. She wasn't sure yet which wisdom she wanted, but she would have at least another 2 days to think about it.
A couple more hours passed and it was night. The thick trees above only let in a tiny sliber of silver light. Hopefully she would find a companion by tommorow. The tiny bird slept for a few hours and then got up to continue her hard tiring journey.
