Monochromatic-ish with darker wings and tail along with a lighter belly and face, making his back seem all black, also has a marking that resembles a scarf/collar around his neck
Physical Build: His built is rather bulky and large, with huge talons and strong wings along with a scar on his forehead and a small crack on his beak (both from the crash)

Personality: Generally skeptic around other birds, prefers to work alone than beg for help, is really quiet and won't speak, unless spoken to or mentioned on the conversation, has a really strong sense of wanderlust, but tends to keep it hidden, also likes to play the "Mysterious and strong big guy" when in reality is really insecure about himself.

Before birth
Altair used to be a wild harpy eagle, until he met Esmeralda, another harpy eagle, she was captured while really young and put on a zoo, one day, while Altair glided through the nearby city, scavenging for food, he managed to find a way into the zoologic and he met Esmeralda, after some talking, he convinced her to break out of the cage and leave, while the janitor cleaned the big habitat, Esmeralda managed to sneak through the door and fly away.

Nestling-hood/Babyhood
His nestling life was rather fun, not only did he get along really well with his siblings Eduardo and Estela, but he was one of the biggest birds in the nest, gaining more weight than the others.
Fledgling-hood/Childhood
As his feathers grew, he became a rather daring bird, always trying to reach the sky and be the very best at every task. However, his dad Altair, used to push him around a lot because of his wanderlust and reckless behavior, saying that he wasn't good enough and comparing him to his siblings.
Branchling-hood/Kind-of-adolescence-but-not-exactly-hood
Leon might not have been the first one to take flight, but that didn't stop his wanderlust, he would always get in trouble for going too far from his nest, he would also challenge smaller animals (such as squirrels and otters) to fights to show off his hunting and fighting abilities.
Young-adulthood
His wanderlust and overconfidence led to his doom, as he was captured and sold illegally to an "exotic animal exposition" but after a strong and windy storm, the plane fell on the ocean and left him stranded for days, the cage Leon was stuck in was left afloat and luckily ended up floating to Starless Islet, Lion still has some sequels from the crash, one of them being the wound, now an old scar, that hit his head leaving him amnesiac.
