This was probably the worst place for a jungle-born bird. Umbriel glided across dead air over the dunes of the desert, brown eyes watching down below for any sign of water or shade. There was little to no plant life in this area and rocks were often buried by occurring sandstorms. Thankfully no wind had picked up within the last half day or so, something of a pleasure for the grey harpy eagle. Sandstorms required shelter, not even those who were born here could fly through the monsters of grain and wind. Umbriel wouldn't stand a chance in the long run...
A shiver ran along his spine despite the sun beating on his back. Just thoughts that weren't pleasant, not ones he wanted to even think about let alone go through. His feathers would be stripped from his body or he might just be thrown to the ground and buried to death. That was a challenge he would not readily accept. But still he flew while the air was clean, brown eyes scanning the land below.

Moon(Never fear! I am here!) Sahara flew over the sand. The sun beat down on her cream and brown feathers, beat down on the dunes below her, making occasional mirages, where the heat became so vigorous, it became visible. The light, Lanner falcon glided over her home, doing various acrobatic tricks. Her wings were long and agile, somewhat dwarfing her body. Their was no wind to aid her flight, so this all ways the talent of her own practice. Out here in her desert, she could fly and be free. She didnt have to worry about other birds, she didnt have to be shy out here! She could be as loud and outgoing as she liked. But her free-spirited heart dropped like stone when she saw a large grey form flapping through the broiling air. No. Stupid bird, go home! This was her realm. At the sight if the big eagle, the jabber falcon dropped like her heart. Her wings tucked into her sides as she dived. She quickly grew close to the ground and hopped into an outcropping of rock. There she would hide and wait for the monstrous bird to pass by.
