These are simply some suggestions and questions, and do not need to be taken seriously, from an experienced roleplayer and former acceptance moderator of an old and long-forgotten pokemon rp. Please do not be offended by any of these, as they are simply meant to be constructive criticism from an experienced eye who appreciates the rare opportunity to partake in a bird roleplay. Feel free to disregard the whole thing if you want, I'm just happy to see a functional bird roleplay.
1. I would like to know what 'bird' entails here. I have seen several birds of real-life species and some of unspecified or fantasy species, and my own first character, Singed, is a bird of a real species with fictional elements, specifically his eyes which are not a natural color for a crow. I have interest to see whether emus, dodos, and other large and/or extinct birds are allowed or not, and if such things like pre-established fictional or fantasy species such as jabber jays, chocobos, noctowls or the like are prohibited. In short, I would like the rules for character creation made more clear. Same for breeding, the way it currently sounds is that any species can breed with any other species on this site and that is confusing me.
2. I see that you have seemingly no method of direct advertisement. I suggest, as I have not long ago, that perhaps a small table image be made with a logo and some basic information. I could advertise to other sites, and as an experienced literate roleplayer know more than a few good places. This could get us some activity.
3. Having build and feather fields are all well and good, but your profile template lacks a straightforward appearance section. For example, perhaps a bird wears a string about it's neck or has a special way of walking. This doesn't belong under either field but could be important to include. If nothing else, I discourage prohibiting modifying the fields and their coding.
4. Is this site realism(well, obviously not entirely), fantasy-realism(what I think it is), semi-realism(what I'm used to) or full fledged magic-and-mystic fantasy style?
5. Must we allow moderation to essentially god-mod us between each turn in flight?
That's it for my tips and questions, now for my wisdom suggestions.

- Ways of detection:
birds who learn detection can sense the presence of those around them with their mind, and are more perceptive than normal. - Ways of light: Birds who learn ways of light can manipulate light with their mind.
- Reflexive: birds who learn reflexive can react very quickly to threats and can dodge excellently.
