Cirus shook his ruffled feathers, poofing them out. "Nightmares? I don't have nightmares." He blinked placidly and settled next to Rinzi and began to clean his feathers. "Are you sure that you didn't imagine it?" He said, to late to realize that he was missing a wing and quite possibly an eye.

"You will if you make it out of this forsaken maze alive!" He screeched, "It wasn't just a dream. Could a dream tear away one of my wings? Could a dream rob me of my flight? This is your last warning. Don't enter into that forest!" With that the, bald eagle climbed back up the tree and disappeared. Rinzi gave Cirus a rather fearful look and asked, "Do you want to continue?"

Cirus ruffled his feathers and raised his head high, hopefully impressing his crush Rinzi. "Well, we've come this far!" Ge opened his wings, eyeing the crazy eagle warily. "Together we can do it. He was alone, we aren't."

Rinzi smiled the best a bird could. "Together," she repeated her bravery boosted. Her hazel eyes gazed into the forest ahead. The trees were already huge compared to the oaks that Rinzi was used to preaching in. From this point on, those trees would only get thicker. With a powerful flap, Rinzi took off. Her flight speed was slow so that if she ran into a tree or something else, she wouldn't be injured. She carefully began weaving through the trees. They were closer together than the forest outside, but their thickness would be the same case as their size. These trees just got closer together the farther that the two birds traveled in. Rinzi glaced back at Cirus. They were about to leave the edges of the forest and travel deep into the maze. She hoped that they were ready for whatever challenges they faced. -Exit Rinzi-

Cirus nodded solemnly at Rinzi. The she-fowl was brave. Sh had bribed that much. As for that eagle, he was a no good coward. Cirus ruffled his white and black feathers before zooming after her, his narrow wingspan helping. If he had a broad wingspan his feathers would clip the trunks. It was tight. It was exhilarating. -Exit Cirus-
